My name is Gaëlle GEDDA.

I’m a French girl, 27 years old and I’ve been living in Japan for almost 3 years.

I studied Japanese language at「Tokyo International Japanese School」for two years, have graduated from this school and I’m currently a student in English Business at「Nakano Business School」in Kichijoji, Tokyo. This year is the last school year of a four-year initiative in Japan, so I will graduate from vocational school in March 2021.

Since young years, I was rocked by the music of my father, an amateur of drum thus tendency rather Rock N’Roll, growing up with Underground music and bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Nirvana, and so on.

Then, I discovered Japanese Hip-Hop and Metal music from Japan at the high school and I immediately fell in love with this country. So I started to study English and Japanese languages by myself and travelled around Europe (France, UK, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, etc…) to meet my favorite artists, mainly Japanese.

Meeting artists from all over the world influenced me a lot, changed my state of mind and worldview.

This is how music became more than a passion, It’s my way of living and fighting.

I moved to Japan and travelled the country on my own going to many music festivals, concerts, exhibitions… From here, I felt the need to capture in words my emotions and feelings, like a photographer of thoughts to keep all the memories alive.

So I started working at home and in my spare time as a freelance writer, writing Live reports, reviews and helping to promote my favorite artists.

The music industry has always made me dream, so I want to better understand Japanese culture and connect my passion with future business activities.

As a foreigner living in Japan, I want to support and promote the Japanese artistic world across the globe through my English writings (Live Reports, Reviews, Interviews, etc…) about :

・Art
・Fashion
・Culture
・Entertainment

As awake dreamer, I’m fascinated by topics like Earth creation/destruction, deep anguish, human bodies and souls, etc… 

But inspired by hope for a better world, I imagine in a corner of my head my ideal universe and wish it could last forever.
